One number covers delivery of the container, your rental period, a tonnage allowance sized to the container you choose, and pickup and hauling when you're done — no separate delivery fee, fuel surcharge, or environmental fee tacked on later. If your debris ends up weighing more than the tonnage allowance for your size, the overage is billed per ton at the rate we quote you up front, so you won't be surprised by a number you didn't agree to. Yardage measures volume — how much space is inside the box — while the tonnage allowance limits how much the load can weigh, and the two don't always run out at the same time. Bulky but light debris like furniture or drywall usually fills the space before you hit the weight limit, while dense material such as concrete, dirt, or brick or a stack of shingles can max out the tonnage in a container that still looks half-empty.

Yes — plaster, lath, and general demolition debris from the older homes common in Belhaven, Fondren, Eastover, and Woodland Hills can go in a roll-off, but it's heavy and it eats through a tonnage allowance faster than most people expect. If your home was built before 1978, disturbed plaster, trim, and flooring can also raise lead-paint or asbestos questions; that's not something we test for or handle, so a licensed abatement contractor should confirm and remediate before demolition debris goes in our container. If you realize mid-project that you need a bigger box, call us — we can often swap containers, though a swap trip is billed separately from your original flat rate. Overfilling matters because our drivers legally cannot haul a container loaded above the fill line or over its rated weight; if a load is overfilled or the door won't close, the driver may ask you to pull material back out before pickup, or we'll arrange a swap. Our roll-off trucks are large, so we need roughly 60 feet of straight, reasonably level clearance to back in and place the container, plus about 14 feet of overhead clearance for tree limbs, low wires, or a carport overhang along the path. Usually yes, but it's exactly the kind of thing you should describe when you call. We don't require it to deliver, but many leases, subdivision covenants, and homeowners association rules do restrict where a container can sit, how long it can stay, or whether one is allowed on the property at all, especially in newer developments around Flowood, Madison, and Ridgeland. Check your lease or HOA documents before you book, and let your property manager know the dates if required. Mississippi law bars mixing hazardous waste in with ordinary trash (Miss. Code § 17-17-15), so items like paint thinner, pesticides, pool chemicals, and similar household hazardous waste can't go in a roll-off — Jackson residents can use the city's Household Hazardous Waste program instead, which accepts paint, oils, batteries, electronics, fluorescent bulbs, and pesticides. Asbestos-containing material — old pipe wrap, certain floor and ceiling tiles, and some plaster or insulation found in pre-1978 homes around Belhaven, Fondren, and other older Jackson neighborhoods — cannot legally go into a standard roll-off dumpster.
